The first time I photographed the Barbosa’s was nearly 4 years ago when I was just starting out with photography. I really had no idea what I was doing, but my sweet friend, Kirbi, decided to take a chance on me. At that point in time it was just Kirbi and Carlos with their 2 girls, Shelby and Gabby. So when Kirbi asked me to photograph their family again this year, this time with the addition of their littlest one, Ben, I jumped at the chance!
We met in Salado, TX on a beautiful sunny morning. I was instantly greeted with lots of hugs as soon as everyone piled out of the car! These kiddos are so much fun to play with and I had a blast walking around and exploring with them. I love how their playful, loving personalities come through in these images, and I was so happy to freeze this moment in their lives so they can hang on to it long after the kids are grown up. We all know how fast time flies.
