What can I say about this kid? I remember when he was 5 years old and I would chase him around my Aunt’s house trying to tickle him. No higher than my elbow, he had white blonde hair with giant blue eyes. He had the cutest little “come and get me” grin. He was always sweet, helpful and had good mannners, even as a kid. And now? Now that cute little chubby cheeked boy is a Senior in high school, graduating in just a few short months. I just can’t believe it. I am so proud of this guy. Not only is he a great athlete, smart and funny, but he’s loyal, honest, and has a servant heart. Just a few weeks ago, he swore himself into the Army and vowed to protect and serve our country. I get teary eyed just thinking about that little boy I used to chase around, now joining the armed forces and going oversees to keep us all safe. I just can’t think any higher of him. He really is going to do great things in his life and I can’t wait to watch him succeed in anything he does. I love you Lance!
