When Annie reached out to me about doing an anniversary session, I was so excited! I love engagement-like sessions and since Annie told me they didn’t really have any wedding pictures, I was humbled that they trusted me to snap some beautiful photos of them. And I had the perfect location in mind. Hermann Park and Rice University served as a beautiful backdrop on a sunny evening where I met up with Annie and William to celebrate their wedding anniversary a little different this year. As we get older, sometimes we forget to slow down and document the present moment so we can cherish those memories for years to come. To capture the laughs, the smiles, the stolen glances that make up the love between two people. These two have had a lot of life together, raising 6 kids, so I can only imagine how hectic and crazy their days can be. I’m so happy they decided to spend an evening with me to slow down, have fun and allow me to capture the growing love between them. I can only imagine how many more decades of anniversaries they will share together. Annie and William, you are two of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met. Happy Anniversary!
Shout out to Jacy Photography who helped me out during this shoot!
