Meet the Browns – Kelly, Derek and little Samuel. I loved shooting with them because they were so nice and laid back! We met just after sunrise on a Saturday morning at Zube Park out in Cypress, TX. I had scouted out this location ahead of time and loved it because 1.) Kelly and Derek were driving in from College Station so this was a good middle ground location and 2.) there were wide open spaces and lots of trees and trails to work with. I showed up at 7 AM and guess what? …the parking lot was FULL. Full?! This was supposed to be one of those places that nobody but me knows about, right?! I thought, “What the heck is going on?”. Turns out every Saturday morning, the Northwest Houston Bicycle Club meets at Zube park and rides miles down the road all morning. I’m not going to lie, I panicked a bit! But luckily after talking to some folks and realized they were only parking there, I knew it wasn’t going to effect our shoot. Dodged a bullet on that one!
Sometimes no matter how much we prepare, you can still can’t foresee everything. Who knew hundreds of riders meet there every Saturday?! Well, now I do :). Enough talking…now enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
